Dr. Chad Rose is the recipient of the CEC Division for Research 2019 Distinguished Early Career Research Award. It was a great honor for Dr. Rose to receive this award during the Council for Exceptional Children National Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. "This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding scientific contributions in basic and/or applied research in special education within the first 10 years after receiving the doctoral degree" (Division for Research Council for Exceptional Children). The award acknowledged that Dr. Rose is considered to be one of the most promising young scholars in the area of bullying among students with disabilities. His work in bully prevention continues to gain recognition internationally. Many of Dr. Chad Rose's students and assistant researchers were able to be present as he received his award. This was a special moment for the Mizzou Ed Bully Prevention Team.
